Procedures required when replacing old SBC with SM400 series mass pro
duction SBC.
1. Backup MMI fold of the existing equipment into D or E drive.
- }2 ]: D1 k' n% u0 c2. Disconnect old SBC from rack.
3. Disconnect cooler and memory from old SBC.
9 T/ t% Y# P. ~2 L4. Install new CPU at new SBC and assemble cooler disconnected from the existing SBC.
. a: X8 ^0 }) e(Never use Intel Cooler included in the box CPU because of weak durability.)
5. Mount the memory disconnected from old SBC.
+ u3 c7 l; L" ~4 x% y6. Assemble SBC at rack and install the supplied Com Port bracket, if the facility uses IT,
* ]3 H3 H# `) o# ]+ iand connect it to SBC Com Port Connector.
( B+ E% C! o9 t5 g7. Receive SM400 Series XP Embedded SP3 ISO file from KT Hard, built Recovery DVD, and
' i4 r6 C' f% \# [6 L7 B  L# vthen install only OS at C drive of hard disk.
) a. B1 \: e) a1 ?  v8. After a completion of Recovery and PnP process, reboot again and install MMI.
9. Overwrite system/PCB folder of back-up MMI into C:\SmartMMI.
